Philip took up his anatomical training at Manchester faculty of Medicine, and the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS Eng) with the Medical Artist’s Education Trust MAET. In 2009 he gained professional membership to The Medical Artist’s Association of Great Britain maa.org.uk and is a registered member of The Academy for Healthcare Science ahcs.
In 2021, Philip became a Professional member of the Institute of Medical Illustrator (IMI)
With over 20 years of professional experience Philip has a special interest in oculoplastic and maxillofacial surgery. He has illustrated 3 editions of a highly acclaimed oculoplastic text book as well as many papers and presentations on this subject. From this he has be invited to present and participate in facial cadaveric dissections at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
