Having been asked to return once again to the RCS of Edinburgh, the opportunity to sketch surgeons at work. The Facial Aesthetic surgery dissection course for surgeons is put together by consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Jeff Downie. Mr Downie invited me to give the evening seminar, helping surgeons understand the proportions that make up the face. Below are some of the sketches that I made during the during the course.

Working with my brother Andrew AKA The Jones Boys. We had the privilege to have been included into The Liverpool Art Book.

The Liverpool Art Book was officially launched in Liverpool's Waterstones bookshop in October 2019. This hard-covered book shows the city through the eyes of 54 artists in a range of media and styles, over 130 pages of beautiful images.

Created and edited by Emma Bennett, this vibrant and quirky hardcovered book is introduced by  Sir Paul McCartney and is the fourth in The City Art Book series. (after Cambridge, Oxford and Edinburgh.

A fantastic 3 days in Cambridge. 

In May I revisited Madingly Hall where 10 years ago my I gained professional Membership to the Medical Artist’s Association of Great Britain. 3 days of great exceptional speakers. Arranged by Philip Ball head of anatomical imaging at Cambridge and hosted by Phil Wilson Chairman of the MAA. It was great to catch up with old friends and a fantastic opportunity to make new friends.

Madingley Hall

In October I was invited back to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. The 2 day course entitled "Facial Aesthetic surgery: Dissection course for surgeons". gave me yet another great opportunity to sketch over the duration of the course. Being asked to be a  guest speaker, I gave a demonstration on how to draw the face and understanding the precise proportions using the Loomis method. Here are some of the sketches I made during the 2 days. 

A great invitation to Nottingham as assistant dissector for an anatomy masterclass in facial aesthetics. The meeting was organised by Galderma, and was projected live to over 100 delegates that travelled in from around the UK.
